Nigerdock commemorated ‘World Day for Safety and Health at Work’ with a town hall event in recognition of its employees’ continuous commitment to the company’s safety culture.
The event was held against the backdrop of a significant company milestone – Nigerdock’s 40th Anniversary, a testament to the company’s longevity, impact, and contribution to Nigeria’s industrial development.
Nigerdock’s General Manager, Operations, Simon Husband, remarked: “Built over four decades, the company’s safety culture reflects a longstanding dedication to adhere to global safety standards and protocols. Our commemoration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work reflects our robust frameworks and alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals and the International Labour Organisation’s standards for healthy work environments. World Day for Safety and Health at Work is annually observed on 28th April around the globe, emphasising the importance of a safe and healthy work environment. Nigerdock has a renowned legacy of safety, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality services.
