Maher Jarmakani​

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Having worked across various career disciplines including supply chain management, sales, and business development as well as leading successful start-ups and operations in the maritime, oil and gas and technology sectors, he is a seasoned business executive and strategic investor.

Maher also holds a dual role as Chairman and CEO of Jagal, a Nigerian conglomerate holding that manages a diverse portfolio of industrial businesses in the energy, maritime, technology and FMCG sectors.

Adewale Akanbi​

Chief Finance Officer

Adewale is an experienced Finance leader with over 22 years of experience in various finance roles in different sectors including Oil & Gas, Maritime, FMCG, Consulting, and Audit, across Africa and the Middle East.  

He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) of the UK and an associate member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, Canada (CPA, CGA).

Michael Akhigbe​

General Counsel & Company Secretary

Michael is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and has over twenty years of experience in diverse areas of Law practice, having worked across multiple sectors including maritime, oil and gas, real estate, construction, aviation, and technology.

Michael possesses expertise in legal drafting and advisory services, regulatory compliance, industrial relations, contract management, corporate services, dispute resolution, and company secretarial practice.

Daniel Ayscough​

Executive Director

Having worked across diverse sectors including maritime, oil and gas, technology, and telecoms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Daniel leads Nigerdock’s Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and IT teams.

With extensive experience in driving strategic growth, Daniel’s focus is on increasing revenue, enhancing client engagement, and optimising operational efficiency.

Simon Husband​

General Manager, Operations

Simon has a solid technical background with over 30 years of experience, including 17 years of providing cross-functional team leadership with an emphasis on quality and safety.

Simon has extensive experience managing operations in ship repair and all streams within the Oil & Gas industry, with excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Kevin Johnson-Azuara​

Chief Marketing Officer

Kevin is a seasoned communications leader with 20 years of agency and corporate experience in the United States and Africa across diverse sectors including maritime, healthcare, agriculture, FMCG, oil & gas, and technology.

A brand visionary, Kevin champions innovative narratives through brand strategy, marketing, reputation management, and media and investor relations.

He is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Public Relations & Communications Association (PRCA), and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Patrick van Uden​

Sales Director​

Patrick is an accomplished Sales Director with over 25 years of experience and exceptional leadership skills in large international companies of a wide range of industries.

He has developed and led highly successful sales teams while consistently achieving and outpacing sales goals, performance measurables and customer satisfaction.

He is well-versed in global shipping dynamics and brings with him significant experience in international logistics related to global multinationals.

Adebola Adesoye​​

Sales Director​

Adebola is a Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Free Zone, Construction, and Maritime industry.

Adebola has also managed multidisciplinary project functions ranging from Project Engineering, Cost Control, Contract Management, Risk Management, Planning, HSE, Quality and Document Control in both greenfield and brownfield environments.

Rutger ten Thij​

Director, Infrastructure Projects

Rutger has over 20 years of corporate project management experience, covering design, general contracting, and construction of large-scale infrastructure projects. ​
He is well-versed in FIDIC contracts with strong commercial and analytical skills. He has achieved significant projects in construction, logistics, real estate, and terminal operations across different continents. ​

Lydia Iyoha​

Head of Human Resources

Lydia is a versatile, excellence-driven, experienced and certified human resources professional with over 20 years of working experience in various capacities across the Health, Hospitality, Oil & Gas and Maritime and logistics sector. She has vast knowledge of business and people skills precisely with innovative thinking, strategic negotiation, relationship management, emotional intelligence, business advisory, communication and stakeholder management.

She holds an MBA in Management and is an active member of various professional bodies such as the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI – SPHRi) USA, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Institute of Strategic Management, Institute of Public Management and Nigeria Institute of Management.

Rita Okechukwu

Head of Government Relations

Rita is an accomplished government relations expert with over 20 years of experience across the energy, FMCG, and maritime sectors.

She has a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with government and regulatory agencies, which has successfully contributed to the company’s growth and success. 

A skilled negotiator and multilingual expert, Rita holds a Sociology degree from a top-tier Nigerian university.

Nanda Krishnan

Head of Commercial

Nanda has 18+ years of experience in supply chain leadership and procurement strategy across multiple geographies including Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East.

He has managed multicultural and cross-functional teams within Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Claims, Material Management and Logistics, while implementing remarkable global initiatives, executing leaner processes and improving supplier relations.

Temitope Odulate

Facilities Director

Temitope is a hands-on and certified project management professional with innovative ideas, concepts, delivery methods, and experience in various strategic roles across different sectors including Construction, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Maritime.

She is skilled in tendering, negotiations, global supply chain management, EPC, contracts, facilities management and with proven expertise in project start-ups including intervention in capital project delivery.

She holds an MSc. in Engineering Management and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Zeinab Roda

Head of Corporate Services

Zeinab brings over 20 years of experience in Corporate Administration and Property and Facilities Management to her role as Head of Corporate Services.

Combining her extensive experience and commitment to results across the energy and maritime sectors, she has mastered the art of streamlining processes, elevating efficiencies, and ensuring seamless coordination across diverse operational areas.

Joseph Adejo

HSE Manager

Joseph has extensive years of combined HSEQ experience in the manufacturing, construction, energy and maritime sectors, developing and managing high-performing teams.

He is well versed in the development and implementation of Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS), and has a passion for training, coaching, and mentoring HSE personnel and safety champions within the organisation.

He has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (NVQ Level 6) and is a Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, among several professional qualifications.

Funmilayo Shokunbi

Executive Assistant and Foundation Manager

Funmilayo is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of administrative and project coordination experience across several industries including Communications, Engineering, and Hospitality.
 
She holds a degree in Secretarial Studies–Bilingual Option French–from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, and a degree in Dynamic Office Management and Office Administration from London Corporate Training. She is also a member of The Nigeria Institute of Professional Secretaries, and London Corporate Training, United Kingdom.
