The award package included the fabrication, engineering, materials procurement, testing, inspection, pre-mechanical completion, electrical instrumentation and load out of the buoy.

The buoy is approximately 23m in diameter and 10m in height. It has 12 compartments, 9 chain stoppers and a turntable with attached platforms and high tech E&I equipment. The total weight of the buoy is 1,287 tonnes.

From a safety perspective Nigerdock achieved a distinct accomplishment as the only Nigerian fabrication yard on the Agbami project without a lost time incident.
